Some insurance plans have a yearly deductible that you have to meet before they will pay out on claims. They may also have a co-pay that you are responsible for paying for each session. The deductible and co-pay are unique to each plan. You may want to reach out to your insurance company to determine your deductible and co-payments.

If you use insurance to pay for your therapy the insurance company will require that I make a formal diagnosis. They may also request to review your clinical record and may determine length of therapy. Some people choose to opt out of using their insurance. In that case we together will determine the treatment plan, frequency, duration and direction of therapy without any input from an insurance company.
